My apologies for such a long absence! I started school again, and I’m afraid I got carried away in the swing of schedules. However, this past month has taught me some very cool things about how to grow in your skills without feeling stressed, anxious, or afraid of failure. SMART goals! Smart stands for Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. Whatever you are trying to achieve, try setting up monthly SMART goals for yourself. Mine include photography, and video goals. Make a few of them, and don’t feel bad if you miss one, rejoice over the ones you did achieve! Those are steps closer to your dream goal. Even if you miss all of them your first month, don’t be depressed, but figure out what hindered you, and fix all of the things that you can to make your goals more achievable next month!
“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn. – Isaiah 60:1-3
